This patch restores Hamtaro and the partial English translation by Xseed for text lines associated with him. The Japanese version featured Hamtaro, but the localization team, despite their best efforts, were forced to dummy him out because of legal licensing issues. Harvest Moon Trio of Towns - Hamtaro Restoration Patches were made to restore the original models and sound effects. According to Bandai Namco Europe, these alterations were done at the behest of Nintendo of America. Swords were changed to wood sticks in US/EU versions, among other things. Different from the re-translation project. Doesn't include the petting minigame even though it's dubbed in the game files. Doesn't fix the text alterations, but rather some of the visual ones.
